Looking back, I realize I have always been passionate about helping people live healthier, fuller lives. What began as nutrition education became teaching, and then, unexpectedly, a diagnosis that revealed a purpose I did not see coming.
Chapter One
Teaching children and adults in communities experiencing food insecurity how to grow, prepare, and enjoy healthier foods.

Moving from nutrition work into the classroom as a paraeducator, then into a teacher preparation program.
